Once you’ve paid for and we’ve delivered, or you’ve collected, the item, that item is officially yours to enjoy and care for.
CANCELLING YOUR ORDER OR AN ITEM
Esthe Leather may, for any reason, cancel your order or an item in your order after you receive your order confirmation, for example, if:
an item is out of stock.
you don’t pay for the item according to the terms of the payment method you selected; or
we discover an error in the listing information of an item, including its pricing.
No changes or cancelations will be accepted once manufacturing has started.
You may cancel an order if there is a ‘cancel’ button on the order page. Once you have initiated a cancellation, you cannot stop the process.
If an order or item is cancelled, we will refund you the amount paid for that cancelled order or item.
GIFT VOUCHERS
Gift Vouchers are valid for use for 12 months from date of purchase only and will expire after the 12-month period. Expired vouchers will not be extended or future dated.
Gift Vouchers are not redeemable for cash.
Unused balance on a gift voucher cannot be refunded.
Gift Vouchers will not be replaced if lost, stolen, destroyed or used without permission.
You can’t use your gift voucher to buy another gift voucher.

PAYING FOR YOUR ORDERS
You must pay for your order by using any payment method available at checkout.
Each payment service provider has its own terms and conditions. You accept those terms and conditions when you choose their payment method at checkout.
The payment service provider is responsible for the security of the payment method you choose and any personal information you provide during the payment process.
When paying using EFT, your order number or estimate number must be used as reference number to ensure timely processing of your order.
If you order directly from Esthe Leather, the full quoted/estimated amount must reflect in our bank account number provided before manufacturing or shipping will commence.
DELIVERY
You can choose to collect your items from Esthe Leather, or we can deliver orders to your chosen address in South Africa. To ensure a smooth delivery, we need your correct delivery address and details.
We may charge you a delivery fee to deliver your order to your chosen address. The delivery fee will be displayed at checkout.
We may change our delivery fees at any time without notice
Delivery times may vary and are determined by the items you order, the payment method, and the location you choose for delivery or collection.
Due to the personalised nature of our products, shipping is approximate 7 – 14 business days. Deliver is approximately This is based on delivery address in the main centres, outlaying areas may have additional delays.
As we utilise external couriers, delays by the courier are unfortunately outside of our control and will we not be responsible for such delays. Esthe leather will not accept liable for any damages and/or losses during the delivery and will be referred to the applicable couriers.
Should your delivery address be an outlaying area for delivery, addition time delay and charges may be applicable.
When someone accepts delivery the order at your chosen address or collect at a Esthe leather, your order is considered delivered. You must make sure that the person who accepts delivery or collects the order on your behalf has your permission to do so.
RETURN POLICY
Due to the tailored nature of our shoe production based on colour combinations, style and sizes, the general rule is that we are unable to accept returns or exchanges.
The following items cannot be returned, exchanged or refunded.
Items that have been personalised, customised for you or made to your specifications.
Items that have been worn or used. It’s okay to try things on, but it’s not okay to wear an item and then try to return it.
The following are exceptions: If we delivered the wrong itemto you, your item arrives damagedon delivery, or your item is the wrong colour or size as per your order, you must return it to us within 30 days of delivery.
You must return the item in its original product packaging. If you don’t, we will not accept the return and will send the item back to you. Please package your return carefully to prevent damage during transit.
When requesting a return, you can select your return method. We can either arrange to collect the item from you, or you can return it to Esthe leather. If you choose to return the item, you must do so within 7 daysof requesting the return.
We may charge you a fee for collecting the item from you and, and a fee for delivering the same or a replacement item back to you.
We can replace or refund you Items accepted for replacement or a refund – it’s your choice. However, if we do not have replacement stock available, we’ll refund you.
If you simply changed your mind and you no longer want an item that can be returned or replaced item, you must return it to us within 3 daysof delivery.
You must return the correct item. Please contact us immediately if you have returned the wrong item because we dispose of incorrect returns. We cannot guarantee that we will find your item and unfortunately, we will not pay for lost items. If we find it, you will have to collect it.
If we reject your return, we will send the item back to you. If we can’t deliver the item to you within 30 days of its return having been rejected, for example because you are unavailable or you refuse delivery, we will consider the item abandoned and may dispose of it.
Should the product be exchanged for a different product, the difference in purchase price will be payable if the exchanged item is of a higher value that the item you are returning.
Items marked as non-returnable on the product page, cannot be returned, exchanged or refunded.

DEFECTIVE PRODUCTS
We do our best to ensure that our products are of high quality and without defects. Should a product appear to be defective, please contact us to assess us and to arrange for the return of the product (where applicable.
Due to the nature of the dye of leather, the difference in colour from batches and deviation from illustrated colour on the website will not be deemed as a defect. Leather is a natural product and as such leather texture and unique characteristics are part and parcel of our products, and are not defects.
DISPUTES
We understand that disagreements sometimes happen.

If you are unhappy with the outcome of your complaint and it has not been resolved to your satisfaction, you may contact the Consumer Goods and Services Ombud (“CGSO”) to assist you in resolving your complaint.

These terms and any disputes arising from them are governed by South African law. This simply means that South African law will guide how we resolve any disagreements between you and Esthe leather.
You agree that the High Court of South Africa (Western Cape Division, Cape Town) will have jurisdiction to hear any legal matters between us. This applies even if the disputed amount would typically be heard by a lower court. This is to help ensure consistency in how cases are handled.
